This was a very good Glorified hop on hop off bus.. Excellent commentary from guide while in van but that was it.
I would not recommend and over priced

Based on our full day tour I would recommend this company to others.

Irene was the best guide! Extremely knowledgeable, brought us to tons of places in a quick day trip, and then also went above a beyond to return an item I left in the van to me. It was great to see so many places in the region!

The experience we had with Ben this past week was exceptional. We toured several cities of the French Riveria. It was better than we had anticipated. Ben was knowledgeable and shared so much history and interesting detail. He was personable and fun. We thank you for our glorious day along the Riveria.

Yes but with a different tour guide

This was great for fitting in as much as possible of the French Rivera into 1 day, which would not be possible without this tour! Our guide was knowledgable and gave us some information on each place. Highlights for me were the tour of the perfume factory, seeing the Monte Carlo casino and race track and some of the more personal stories the guide shared of the area, which was nice to add a bit of variety rather than just facts.
The tour did seem a little expensive compared to other tours like this we have done in other countries, and the fact our driver and guide was one person did mean that often we were just given 30-45 mins of free time at each place (presumably as he wasn’t allowed to park) but this did make it feel like we weren’t necessarily using that free time to see the best bits - it would have been better to have a separate driver and tour guide so that the tour guide could get out the bus with us and show us the best bits of each place.

This is the perfect way to visit numerous sites in one way. We visited places including Cannes, St Antibes, Eze, Fragonard perfumery, the Royal Palace in Monaco.

Our tour guide was patient and informative.

There is a lot of walking involved, so make sure you wear comfortable footwear.

Our driver/guide Katharina picked us up at the cruiseport in Cannes. During the drive to Nice, where we picked up the other guests, we could talk in Dutch. Katharina is an excellent driver, she knows and tells a lot about the area and how the people lived here. We visited Eze, drove the Monte Carlo F1 circuit and had time to explore Monaco. Then on to the beautiful St. Paul de Vence, where there were also nice eateries for lunch. On to the coast where our guide took us through all the coastal towns via the coastal roads, with a short stop in Antibes, back to Cannes. I now know where I want to go to again. Katharina it was a pleasure to explore the Riviera with you. We loved your love and your knowledge of the area to show us the most beautiful spots. Chapeau!

Wonderful tour experience with prompt pick-up from hotel. The guide was knowledgeable, fun and thoughtful

Very efficient, and well run tour. We were picked up promptly at the pier where our ship was docked. Our guide was excellent. This is a good tour if you are only in Monte Carlo for a day and would like to see Nice and the surrounding area as well as Monte Carlo.

We booked this particular small group tour because we wanted to see as many of the small towns French Riviera as possible. Our first stop was Antibes, a medieval town where we greatly enjoyed the open market (the first of many we would encounter on our cruise). None of the three couples on the trip was interested in going to the Fragonard perfume factory, so our guide said that it was pointless to go to Eze, and if we weren't going to Eze it would be too time consuming and out of the way to visit Saint Paul-de-Vence. This was disappointing, but the other couples wanted to have time in the casino in Monte Carlo and my husband really wanted to visit Prince Rainier's car collection there. So we skipped the other small French Riviera towns, and went directly from Antibes to Monaco. During our free time there, we ourselves went to the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco. When we left Monaco for Monte Carlo, we made a stop at the car museum for an hour, and then spent the rest of the time outside the casino (which didn't interest us). We peeked inside and then sat in a lovely park across the street until it was time to leave.

The guide made us promise we would not complain about skipping the small towns, and I really place primary responsibility for my disappointment wth the tour on the other two couples who just wanted to go to the casino. I don't know why they even booked this particular tour, which cost 40 euros per person more than the one that just went to Monaco and Monte Carlo. (I myself had tried to find out via e-mail correspondence directly with LivenUp whether they had any other tours that would assure us free time during which we could go to the car museum, but they said it would require our getting a private guide and driver.) Since seeing the car collection was a priority for my husband, I figured some compromise on my part was in order. Nevertheless, I can't help but feel that we made more than our share of concessions due to the assertiveness of the other two couples. In retrospect I do think we could have, and should have, included the morning stops in St. Paul de Vence and Eze (minus the perfume factor), which still would have given us an hour in the car museum, and the other couples equal time in the casino (or perhaps even dropping them off there, giving us that time the car museum, and then picked them up?), while still getting back to the ship within the tour's time frame.

Again, I don't blame our guide or LivenUp. But I want to offer a caveat for other travelers considering a small group tour like this: once you agree to deviate from the stipulated itinerary of a small group tour, you may get more--or less--than you bargained for. Had we insisted on following the itinerary we contracted for, what the other couples did or didn't want would not have mattered, but since we also had something not stipulated on our wish list, we can claim no legitimate cause for grievance. ( If I had it to do again, we would have taken a half day tour to the small towns of the Cote d'Azur, then taken a taxi to the car museum and back to the ship.)

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Karolina. She was friendly and very informative. We had people from different countries and, being multilingual, she was able to easily translate between different languages. We had a great day and would recommend the tour (and Karolina) to our friends.

The overall experience was wonderful and a lot of fun. Our driver was extremely knowledgeable and very funny. There was a good mix of people on the excursion and overall it was incredible.

We really enjoyed our tour of the French Riviera. Our tour guide/driver, Yann, was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable of the area. We were able to cover a lot of different sites during our tour. We particularly enjoyed the Villages, St. Paul de Vence and Eze; and Yann's recommendations of places to visit in the various locations were fantastic.

As a convenient and safe way to see the French Riviera in a short period of time, avoiding the hassles of driving and finding places to park, while also having a knowledgeable guide, we highly recommend this tour.

We visited the French Riviera on a rainy, cold week which wasn't so fun (just our luck, of course!), but it was still beautiful, enjoyable, and some areas (even with the clouds, wind, and rain) were magnificent. We loved Monaco and St. Paul de Vence best; Cannes the least. Moumen was very informative, friendly, helpful, enthusiastic in his delivery and sincere in his joy of this work. He accommodated multiple languages in our van. Very talented and well-versed man. Thank you, Liven up!

It was the best choice we could made. We only had one day to visit the french Riviera, and this tour make possible to go to several destinations. The cities that we visited were gorgeous and beautiful. The car picked up us on time in our hotel at Montecarlo, the guide was very kind and well informed, gave us all the information and answer all question we made.he even recomend us places to eat. If you are planning to visit for the first time or second time the French Riviera You must take this tour. Cannes, Nice, Eze, Antibes, Turbie, Saint Paul di Vence , the parfum Factory ( a must see )all was memorable and unforgettable. And tour was available in several language. Our guide speaks perfect spanish too!
